One of the best ways to gain momentum during your career search is to reach out to employees at the company you want to work for, specifically key decision-makers. This will allow you to stand out among the sea of 500-1,000+ applications. When you go to make these connections, there are some simple, yet overlooked, strategies that are very effective to not only receive a response when doing this deliberate networking, but all get a response that could propel you into the role you are aiming for.
